DigiBizz Freelancing Program is a project of Government of Baluchistan with a vision to invest in capacity development of the youth of Baluchistan. This program will help in improving the technical and professional skills of youth by providing them with state-of-the-art Freelancing trainings and e-Business opportunities to become self-employer and entrepreneur
DigiBizz equips students with the skills needed to excel in these industries, ensuring they are prepared to meet the demands of the evolving digital marketplace.
These trainings aim to empower individuals to build successful careers in freelancing and entrepreneurship, contributing to both personal and regional economic growth.
Pakistan is globally ranked as the 4th most popular country for freelancing. Online freelancing is one such opportunity, which at very low cost can ease the burden of the Government to provide jobs to each of its unemployed youth. Government of Baluchistan, Science & IT department initiated DIGIBIZZ freelancing program for the youth of Baluchistan in all public universities.
Structure Bodies:
Digibizz program is managed through complete management structure comprising following
- Program Director
- Admin Officer
- M&E Officer
- Master Trainers
- Trainers
- Each Center Focal Team
In addition there is a management body (FEC) Freelance execution cell which overall take administrative and operational decisions
Program Director ensures that all components align with the program’s objectives and oversees strategic planning and resource allocation. Supporting the Director is the
M&E Officer, responsible for supervising the training structure, tracking progress, and maintaining quality across all centers while providing regular reports. Leading the training efforts are the
Master Trainers, who deliver expert knowledge and ensure quality in their domains.
Finally, the Trainers implement the training programs, actively engaging participants and facilitating effective learning experiences in each center.
Services:
Digibizz Provide 4 month specialized training to youth of Balochistan through well design selection criteria i.e online test and physical interviews in each center.
DigiBizz offers specialized trainings in three rapidly growing fields:
Digital Marketing, Amazon, web & E-commerce, and Creative Designing. Through comprehensive training programs,
Physical training is provided in Quetta, (BUITEMS, UoB, ITTI & Girls Collage Quetta Cantt) where instructor-led, hands-on sessions are conducted at the local centers. In other cities trainings are provide in Public Universities Zhob, Sibi, Loralai, and Gwadar, the training is delivered online and managed from the central Head Office in Quetta. The program is supported by 15 Trainers and 3 Master Trainers.
Objectives:
The DigiBizz program is committed to providing practical training in freelancing and entrepreneurship to 2,000 students, with the goal of expanding its reach to every district in Balochistan.
By equipping the youth with essential digital skills, the program seeks to create sustainable employment opportunities, reduce unemployment, and contribute to the economic development of the region.
A key focus of the initiative is women empowerment, encouraging greater female participation in the digital economy and fostering an inclusive environment where both men and women can thrive professionally and financially. Through this, DigiBizz aims to nurture a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and prosperity across Balochistan.
